    Payment Policies 1. Who to Pay All payments must be made to BlueMoon Weddings & Event Planning. All Fees are non-refundable! Payments should be made ONLY to one of our vendors in the shop for your initial payment. The remaining balances should be paid directly to the ATM in the BlueMoon client services building. Please NEVER pay an avatar that says they work for us (not even the owners), including anyone lingering in our shop. 2. Deposits A L$ 5,000 - L$15,000 deposit is paid directly to the store vendor upon booking. If you purchase "As You Wish!" you must have paid a minimum of L$10,000 toward your package by the time you have your add-on experience. If you purchase "Is This The Real Life? Is This Just Fantasy?" you must have paid a minimum of L$10,000 PER EXPERIENCE before you have your add-on experiences. Upon booking, payment for individual items and services is due to the store's vendor. A down payment should always be made to one of our vendors in the main shop. Please NEVER EVER pay an avatar for services. We only take initial payments through the vendor and the remaining balances through the ATM. All remaining payments can be made toward your event package anytime via the ATM in the client services building. The remaining balances are due fourteen (14) days before the wedding's date to the ATM in the BlueMoon Information building. Late payments may require rebooking your date. As a reminder, any event can only be rebooked once without a rebooking fee*. Any wedding rescheduled seven (7) days or less before the event will be charged a venue rebuild fee*. *Rebooking Fee (not within 14 days): 1st rebooking: Free as long as it’s before 14 days 2nd rebooking: L$1,500 3nd rebooking: L$3,000 4th rebooking: L$6,000 (Every subsequent rebooking doubles from the last rebooking price) *Venue Rebuild Fee (weddings canceled within 7 days or less): Every rebuild costs L$3,000. We charge this fee for the time our builder takes setting up your venue, terraforming, and tinting it to your colors. These builds are ¼ of a sim in size, and setting one up takes a minimum of 2 hours time (some venues take days). BlueMoon believes in ensuring all those who do work are paid for their dedication and efforts. (These rebuilds may also be subject to a rebooking fee when applicable) After Hours Fee An after-hours fee is a fee charged for any event that is past our normal business hours. After hours at BlueMoon starts at 7 PM SLT and goes through to 7 AM SLT *. Our after-hours "fee" makes it so we can "convince" (aka bribe) our amazing staff to stay up late past bedtimes and against their better judgment to make your event a success. They may be tired, but they are a dedicated, amazing bunch of people, so we give them a little more to make it worth their while, as they drag around tired in RL the next day ☻. A Happy Team Makes Your Dream! * Wedding After Hours Fee L$10,000 Rehearsal Walking down the aisle may seem simple, but the day of your event is not the time to figure out how to move from one animation system to the next. Hover height - pose positioning - walking order - timing. These things take a few minutes to explain so that panic doesn't set in during your ceremony. It is helpful that anyone who will participate (wedding party/entourage) be present at the rehearsal. Additional rehearsals past (1) will require an additional payment*. * Subsequent rehearsals are charged L$1,000 per. PHOTOGRAPHERS All photographers are freelance agents who work with BlueMoon. They are not employees of BlueMoon. Although we collect payment for the photographers, questions about their work, policies, timeline, etc. should be directed towards them. Please tell us if you have trouble with a photographer. However, any grievances you have with a photographer need to be settled with the photographer themselves. Please note photographers are not under obligation to share or distribute their raw photos. Our Photographers work so hard to capture your special memories for you, so we try not to waste the little time you have taking staged photos. For group photos taken the day of your event, please make sure those people you wish to be in the photo are present and aware at the designated time set by your event coordinator and photographer. If everyone pays attention to directions, the photoshoot will take only a few moments. Any photos requiring over (10) people will need to be staged on a different day and will be subject to a surcharge*. If we do staged group photos on a scheduled day after the event where all parties can meet and do them (if you are having any of those done). When that happens, we will do our best to have it in your venue if BlueMoon’s schedule allows it. If not, your photographer will find backdrops that match the theme as best they can. All pictures that are not on the day of the wedding must be taken within (7) days after the wedding, unless previously agreed upon prior to the ceremony date. Photographers are contracted for 1.5 hours time, this includes your wedding, reception, and photos taken on another day. If you need more time to take photos, you will be required to purchase as much time as you need to complete the photos*. *Added People Per Photograph over (10) people is L$300 per person. *Added Photographer time is charged per hour (not in fractions of time) at L$1,000 per hour. Lag in SL is a real thing. Sometimes, those moments we want most are not captured due to rendering or rezzing issues. Our photographers do their best to work around these issues. However, if one becomes an issue, your photographer will do their best to make sure those lasting memories are yours to share from here until the end of time. Photographs usually take approximately 14 days after your event is completed. Please get in touch with your photographer for the delivery timeline. VIDEOGRAPHERS All videographers are freelance agents who work with BlueMoon. They are not employees of BlueMoon. Videographers manage their payments, and rates vary. If you are interested in a videographer, please let us know at the time of booking, and we will put you in contact with one. Please tell us if you have trouble with a videographer. However, any grievances you have with a videographer must be settled with them. Please note videographers are not under obligation to share or distribute their raw footage. Videographers at BlueMoon are subcontracted to work with us. Each videographer has a time frame for how long it takes them. Please check with your videographer to see how long they expect for delivery. Lag in SL is a real thing. Sometimes, those moments we want most are not captured due to rendering or rezzing issues. Our videographers do their best to work around these issues. However, if one becomes an issue, your videographers will do their best to make it right. We sometimes do reshoots on a scheduled day after the event when all parties can meet and do them. When that happens, we will rez your venue out again and have the people in the shots come back to get them done. Videographers usually take approximately a week after your event is completed. Please get in touch with your videographer for the delivery timeline. VENUES Custom Venue vs. Customization Well, I'm glad you asked. There is a HUGE difference! Customization: With a venue rental or wedding package we allow some customization. Customization at BlueMoon is classified as your ability to pick the color choices of the tintable objects in the venue (with a few special exceptions on “some” venues). We however will not be able to make any structural changes. After these customizations are done you will have (1) opportunity before your event to look over your venue and make (1) change. Any further changes will be subject to a charge per change*. Customizations that are allowed are seating replacement, Simple removal of Small objects (trees, flowers, animals, etc…), additional seating, addition of small objects (that we have. If it requires a purchase the client is responsible for the monies of the purchase). We do not allow large changes to the venue. *Customizations after the (1) free change are charged at L$500 per change Custom Rebuilds: A Custom Venue Rebuild is any larger change. Larger changes include but are not limited to terraforming, different objects added into the build, changing placement of pieces, changing large structural pieces, Etcetera …… Custom Venues are subject to a charge*. These fees are for the builders time and possibly objects that need to be purchased to complete your build. (If the items you require go over the cost of your build payment you will also be charged accordingly). BlueMoon Custom Venues Custom builds take time, energy, and effort. As we all know, we have real lives as well as second lives. Because of this, we ask for a 45-day lead time to allow our creative building team the opportunity to create a venue that is as unique as a blue moon. Prices vary and are based upon a lot of factors. Please note requests are approved based on time and availability. Custom builds are reserved for (2) months after your wedding date before being added to the BlueMoon Catalog. *BlueMon Custom Venue Pricing: ¼ of a sim starting at L$25,000 (includes venue & land rental for 3 hours for your event) {custom build form} Offsim Builds BlueMoon does not do off sim builds at this time. We will only build on our own land where we can control lag and restarts. However if you are looking for one built on your land we will be happy to refer you to a custom offsim builder. All recommended builders are freelance agents that work independently of BlueMoon. We do not guarantee the work they do or take any responsibility for the build's outcome. They are not employees of BlueMoon. Freelance builders manage their own payments and rates vary. If you are interested in speaking with a builder, please let us know at the time of booking and we will put you in contact with one. Please tell us if you have trouble with a builder, however any grievances you have with a builder need to be settled with the builder themselves. Copying Venues As flattering as that should be, it's not and we do not allow (by both BlueMoon & TOS) any recreation of our builds. All builds made at BlueMoon are the sole intellectual property of BlueMoon Weddings & Event Planning and copying of them. We have gone to a lot of lengths so make sure our builds are unique and we have something other people don't have. In that being said we ask that you respect the creators by not copying their venues and instead purchasing the use of one of ours and supporting the creative artists of Second Life. Without the creative minds in our world we wouldn't have the amazing things we have today. Thank You for admiring them but thank you even more for not violating our rights. Late Starts We know that late starts happen, and life can be crazy on a wedding day, however our staff gets paid per hour. If your wedding starts any later than (10) minutes you will be subject to an immediate late start payment before the wedding will be allowed to continue*. This charge will be implemented for every (10) minutes past the start time. Please be aware DJ’s start time starts the minute the wedding is supposed to start. Your DJ is booked for a set amount of time and any late start will impact the time they play at your reception. If you need to buy more DJ time you will have to ask your coordinator to book you more time (please note it is not a guarantee that your DJ will be able to work an extra hour due to RL or other SL commitments). To purchase more time you will have to send the payment to the avatar Bluemoon Mixmaster and show receipt to your coordinator. *Late Start Fees: 10 Minutes: L$1,000 20 Minutes: L$ 2,000 30 Minutes: We Cancel The Event (events can be rescheduled, and fees will be applied before a rebooking can happen) LAG We are not responsible for lag of any sort. Lag is caused by many things in Second Life and is sometimes hard to avoid. However, we always do our part, remove all scripts from unnecessary objects, and reset our sim a handful of times before your event to promote sim health and usability. You can help this, though, by reminding your guests to remove as many scripted objects as they can (Baby Talkers, AO’s, Typers, and HUDs till after your ceremony is over). Objects such as those listed above when controlled will help us decrease lag and get you down the aisle without a problem. We also recommend you do not pick a Tuesday for your wedding. We won’t stop you but we can not control what Linden Labs does and that is their day for rolling restarts, and system upgrades. Date Changes At BlueMoon Weddings & Event Planning, we understand that changes to your event can occur. If you need to change your event date or modify your invitations after they have been created, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to make the necessary changes and ensure that your invitations reflect your updated event details. Additional charges may apply depending on the extent of the changes*, but we will always provide you with transparent pricing and options. Our goal is to make your event planning process as seamless as possible, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any concerns or questions. Refunds & Cancellations All L$ monies paid to BlueMoon Weddings & Event Planning are Nonrefundable. BlueMoon does not issue any refunds for any reason possible. In most cases a credit will be issued to our CasperVend system to the person who paid the L$ monies. The credit can be used towards any of our items, party, wedding, or restaurant packages, but not our individual services or gift cards. Credit will only be issued once. If subsequent services are canceled your credit will expire. Credit expires in most cases 90 days after purchase unless otherwise agreed upon. All L$ paid will be subject to applicable deductions* *Possible Deductions From Credited Amount: All canceled events within (14) days are subject to the following deductions. Rebuild Fees (if applicable) Admin Fee (L$1,000) Items Deductions (Stationary, Gift Table, Guest Book, etc.) DJ Fees (L$1,000) Officiant Fee (L$1,000) Photographer Fee (L$500) Coordinator Fee (L$500) Item Remakes All remakes of items that are our fault will be remade at no cost to the client. If a client changes colors, names, style, on any objects including floor textures within 14 days prior to the wedding will be charged for remakes. Please ask your coordinator about any changes and pricing. Right To Refuse Service BlueMoon reserves the right to refuse anyone who is mistreating another. As people, we should always talk to each other with the same kindness we would want to be treated. We understand we all have bad days, but taking it out on someone else is inexcusable. We reserve the right to refuse service if you or a party member on your behalf mistreats one of our staff. Remember the golden rule, "Treat others as you want to be treated," or better. We reserve the right to eject and ban any person in your wedding party/entourage or guest if they are behaving in a way that is unkind in any sort. Refunds will not be given in these instances, so please be kind to one another.
